Endrick scored on his Real Madrid debut

Endrick scored on his Real Madrid debut as Carlo Ancelotti’s team earned their first La Liga win of the season with a hard-fought 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid at home.

The reigning champions faced frustration for much of the match during Kylian Mbappe’s home debut, but found their rhythm after Federico Valverde’s second-half opener.

In the 88th minute, substitute Brahim Diaz doubled Madrid’s lead, latching onto a long pass from Eder Militao and cleverly chipping the ball over Valladolid goalkeeper Karl Hein.

Eighteen-year-old Endrick then sealed the win in stoppage time, firing a powerful shot inside the near post.

Valverde’s breakthrough came in the 50th minute when his low strike took a heavy deflection off Stanko Juric, leaving Hein helpless and giving Madrid the lead after a difficult first half. Valladolid’s deep defensive setup had stifled the attacking trio of Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, and Rodrygo, limiting their opportunities.

The game opened up as Valladolid pushed for an equaliser, creating more space for Madrid to exploit. Despite making several promising runs, Mbappe couldn’t find the net on his home debut.

Real Madrid, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Mallorca in their opening match, will face Las Palmas in their next La Liga fixture on Thursday.
