On Tuesday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, advised Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote, to seek divine guidance due to ongoing challenges surrounding his refinery business.
Primate Ayodele urged Dangote to turn to God if he wishes to ensure the continued success of his refinery. In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele warned that Dangote could face new, unexpected obstacles from those opposed to his success.
The prophet shared that he had previously sent a prominent Northern traditional ruler to deliver a warning to Dangote about potential governmental confrontations related to his refinery. He noted that this warning was disregarded.
Ayodele explained that while the refinery has the potential to benefit Nigeria’s economy, there are powerful interests that might seek to undermine it. He stated, “Before the issues with Dangote arose, I had sent a well-known Northern traditional ruler to inform him that the government might oppose him. I even made a video about it, and now it’s coming to pass. Prophecies should not be taken lightly, as they are meant to forewarn of imminent dangers. Perhaps my advice was ignored because I am not a Muslim, but it is crucial to heed such warnings.”
He continued, “The challenges for Dangote are far from over. There are forces working against the success of his refinery. He needs to seek divine intervention to overcome these obstacles. Despite the refinery’s potential to boost the economy, some individuals will still try to sabotage it.”
Primate Ayodele also criticized the Nigerian government for its stance against indigenous companies like Dangote’s, suggesting that such actions hinder economic growth. He argued, “If the government continues to oppose local businesses, how can we expect economic progress? Indigenous companies like Dangote’s refinery and Innoson Motors should be supported. Instead of favoring foreign entities, we should back our local industries.”
He concluded, “These companies have the potential to enhance the economy and create jobs for Nigerians. Dangote’s refinery could help eliminate fuel shortages and generate employment. It’s time to move past ethnic biases and focus on supporting initiatives that benefit the nation.”
