Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the #EndBadGovernance protests.
The nationwide protests, which began on Thursday, August 1, have resulted in several fatalities.
Obi shared his sentiments on his verified X account, mourning those who died “in their struggle for a better nation.”
On Friday night, the former Anambra State governor wrote: “I wish to most sincerely pass my condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives in the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.
“I deeply mourn these brothers and sisters of ours, who have lost their lives in their struggle for a better nation.”
