Hardship : Oshiomole asks Nigerians to be patient as Tinubu’s reforms needs time to become a reality

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Speaking on Channels Television’s *Sunday Politics*, Oshiomhole addressed concerns following the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) report, which showed inflation had surged to 34.19 percent in June 2024.

According to DAILY POST, the rise in the cost of living has been attributed to the naira’s floating exchange rate and the removal of the fuel subsidy by the current administration.

Despite these challenges, Oshiomhole, a former governor and current Senator for Edo North, expressed confidence that President Tinubu’s policies would eventually produce positive results. He emphasized the need for patience as these changes take time to yield benefits.

“You have to acknowledge that some policy measures will take more than a year to show results,” Oshiomhole said. “The president would not choose policies that do not promise long-term benefits.”

He continued, “It is essential to have faith that, in the end, these measures will prove effective.”
