#EndBadGovernance: Protesters march in Lagos amid tight security

Protesters are currently protesting in Lagos.

Youths in their number converged on Ikeja Undebridge where they are expected to move to Ojota.

The protest which began today is planned to last till August 10.

The protest is coming following the current economic hardship faced in the country.

Nigerians in the country had raised their voices to protest as a way of expressing their grievances against the high cost of living, hunger, high levels of unemployment, and limited access to quality education as major concerns amongst others.

The protesters converged around 8 am in their numbers chanting solidarity songs and holding placards calling for better governance.

The protest is taking place amid tight security presence including the police, LNSC, and civil defence.

Although there were scanty vehicles on the roads like the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and the Alausa routes, youths in their hundreds are however marching from the Underbridge.
