Bobrisky says “My jail term was a vacation”

Controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky has referred to his recent jail term as a “vacation” and demonstrated his resilience in the face of adversity.

In an interview on the “Curiosity Made Me Ask” show with host Bae U Barbie, Bobrisky spoke about his time at Kirikiri Correctional Centre, where he served a six-month sentence for naira mutilation. He even suggested he would be willing to return to prison, but only for a short period.

When asked if he would go back to jail, Bobrisky said, “I would love to go, maybe for a short term. Just a short term, not a long one.”

He described his imprisonment as an attempt to break him, but emphasized that it failed to do so. Bobrisky maintained that he was wrongly convicted, asserting that spraying money should not be considered a crime. He rejected the label of being an ex-convict for an act he views as harmless.

Bobrisky said, “The reason I’d be open to going back is that they really want to break me. I don’t understand how someone can be sentenced to prison for spraying money. It’s laughable to me. Everything felt like a scene from a movie. I used my own money—money I earned through hard work. I didn’t steal, kidnap, rape, or kill anyone. I simply spent my own money and was sentenced alongside actual criminals.

“But as I always say, I’m a strong person. If I’ve chosen this lifestyle, I must be prepared for anything. The worst they could do was send me to prison, which is ridiculous because I didn’t commit any crime. I didn’t kill anyone. I refuse to accept being labeled an ex-convict for something as trivial as spraying money. I won’t accept it.”
